I discontinued Wellbutrin 3 months ago, and felt I really still needed an extra something, but didn't want the headaches associated with even the lowest dose of ssri's, so I researched it and tried this one. Its very strong. After 6 days, I noticed that a few times daily, I was getting hit with an "all of a sudden" pounding, racing heartbeat, slight dizziness and faintness (while sitting still) with no logical explanation. I wish this came in a much lower dose, since you can't halve the caplets. I must be extremely sensitive to St. John's wort, but I do not plan on taking any more of these. I also consume coffee and take a vitamin supplement with guarana, so I think these helped bring about the reaction, so don't mix with ANY stimulants. I'd say if you are not sensitive to stimulants, have good heart health and don't drink alchohol, this is a fantastic product because it is very reactive (versus supplements with no effect, waste of money). Its a shame this happened, because otherwise, I was starting to feel really great. Definately do not take more than the recommended dose and follow the instructions about starting slow (one pill once a day for a week, then move up to two - but no more than two!)
